時代不斷發展，學問也隨之而不斷演變，研究範圍就越來越分工和細緻。同一學科本身也細分不同的研究範疇，例如醫學科就分為不用專科了。單就希伯來聖經而論，本身也有不同的研究方向，有從作者、文本和讀者不同角度，也可有不用理論的各種釋經法，五花八門，各有所長。可是從未有人會妄想把研究希伯來聖經的方法合併為單一研究方向。奇怪的是總是有人建議把信仰中不同的學科「整合」（integration），卻又不見有發表任何整合的方法論，以及可行的方法，只求幾個不同學科的老師，合作教授一個學科（實情可能只是分派各人負責幾次課堂），就當作整合，是否真的能夠做到呢？

以前在同一個學期，又要修神學科和聖經科時，就會一種精神分裂的感覺……
總會覺得神學老師釋經斷章取義，很希望聖經科老師可以過來解釋經文。與神學老師對質……
然後自己食花生…..
咁你就唔明神學老師的治學方法了。
不會「對質」的，大家知道彼此的研究方向根本不同。
只是強迫不同學科整合再會出事。
