讀書求學對我來說，目的只有一個，就是尋求學問，增進知識。無論哪一個專科，花時間學習就是為了掌握那一專科的知識。若果花了時間後，結果仍然不知學了甚麼，或是學了又不記得，這代表有兩個可能，第一是教學失敗；第二個是學習失敗。當然，若不用花功夫就可以得到的，我常說這只是常識，並不是知識。
