信徒最大問題不是對神沒有心，而是總對認識神不願下苦功，很多時只是憑感覺。對我來說，惟一可以認識神的方法就是對聖經有多少理解。我聽見很多人分享「聽到神的聲音」，或是「得到神的感動」，這當然不能排除神與人溝通的方法。可是沒有神的聲音或感動，這樣又如何呢？最大問題的是人對神的理解，若沒有聖經的支持，則變成自己的個人理解，結果憑估計偏面覺得神是滿有慈愛、憐憫，對人施恩典，於是就出現對神的審判有不同理解。可是聖經是怎樣記載的呢？卻又好像不大理會。
