也許這就是聖經所描述「彎曲悖謬的世代」，各人為了自己的方便就把曲的說成是直的，有時間是「誰大誰惡誰正確」！
不過這也許是人的劣根性，或者聖經所講的罪性，我們做了某些事而沒有不良結果時，我們就不容易遵從應有的原則去做事，反而不斷去試底線，相信聖經中以色列整個民族二千年的叛逆事蹟是最好的教材！當然個人層面的反省也很重要，我們未必能夠可以改變四周環境，但能夠謹守自己的言行已是最基本的責任！-

當然最重要的是歷代的以色列人中，仍有忠於神的人，神仍可以呼召他們成就了祂的計劃。因此重點不是那班悖逆的人，而是盡忠的人怎樣面對他們。
