上星期我與一班同事閒談，其中一人問起那時是否學院的考試週。另一個人就立刻叫那人問我，指出我任何的科目必定要考試，所以我一定會知道答案。
我之後想想，由第一天在神學院教書開始，就必定有安排兩次考試和一份功課，學生號稱「一盅兩件」，後來為了鼓勵同學「勤讀聖經」，若是任教經卷時都會安排平均每章一題的是非或選擇題的測驗。

後記：
我每次預備試卷都花了很多時間，常對學生說笑，我預備的時間多過他們溫習的時間。我設定了許多題目，除了考核他們在學科中掌握了多少外，更重要的是也能評核他們怎樣面對考試的素質。
我最愛考試，做功課有種「無底深潭」的感覺。最開心是考你科的試。
