兩年在以色列的學習課程，我只感到天外有天。之前在英國讀舊約， 已體會到學者的風範，自己距離有多遠。到了以色列，每論以色列還是美國學者，又有另一番境界。由於是不同範疇的學問，沒有高低，只有洞見。對我來說，都是「高不可攀」的境界。這使我自己直到目的都不敢有任何驕傲，因為自問仍有一段距離。這兩年時間，反而使我回想起一些有趣的經歷。
