論文評審員雖然開始時告訴我已得到博士學位，又說口試不會影響我得到博士學位的資格。不過按程序還是需要有口試的步驟，於是還要正式進入口試的程序。
我看到他們拿着幾張筆記，明顯是有備而來，我頓覺自己只像空槍上陣，兩手空空，無論陣勢和氣勢明顯是相形見拙，已知輸了一半。他們雖然事前已說明口試的表現，並不會影響我得到學位的資格，但我認為自己都不應該表現得一無是處，只像「一舊飯」就丟臉了。我也不相信評審員不會趁機顯示他們實力（這是學者的成功感），因此我不能掉以輕心，還是嚴陣以待較好。
